Innovation day was an great experience I had in English class. It was a meaningful project and opportunity to do something I never thought I'd do. I got the opportunity to create a doll house which I've always wanted to do. It meaningful because it fulfilled my childhood dream. The wok time was also meaningful because I got a chance to work with my friend and learn more about our skills. I never knew I could use a chainsaw but I got to experience that! Even though we didn't get as far as we hoped, we were still proud of how we kept our motivation throughout nearly the whole time.

Thus previous week was our last day to work on our projects 😭 We did not get as far as we had hoped because it was more difficult than we thought, but we plan on coming after school some days to get as much of it done as we can. We have measurements for the inside walls now and hope to glue those on.
This previous week for innovation day we repainted the house color from black to a dark gray. We did not like how the house was looking with black so we decided to change it to suit our likings better. We also painted the window sills a light gray. We are planning on staying after school this next few weeks because we are behind and we hope to at least finish the structure of the house and the furniture will be for some other time.
this week for innovation day we finally found our gorilla glue and materials and finished putting the borders around the windows. Next we will either paint them and the balconies or started making measurements for the walls inside the house. With the school year coming closer and closer, we plan on working harder and better.
This week I was not at school for innovation day but my partner worked more on the window border. We will most likely have a set back due to someone taking our gorilla glue. We have used that glue hold nearly for everything to be held up so we hope to find it. I am not sure how far she got on the window borders.
this week for innovation day we keep glueing Popsicle sticks on the windows. It is taking longer than expected to finish. We hope to be done by the next innovation class and move on to possibly cutting the walls.
This week for innovation day we continued to glue police sticks around the Windows. We learned to use the clippers to cut the Popsicle sticks and to sandpaper the edges whil doing this. We are just continuing to use the gorilla glue with this. We also glued on the piece of room that sticks and held it up with clamps. Next week we plan on finishing up the Popsicle sticks and possibly painting them.
My passion for this house is growing as I see more progress being done and I'm excited to see how it will turn out. I've learned that building a house is actually pretty hard 😅 and you need to make pieces nearly perfect. I've grown in my artist skills and way of thinking as I try to picture and draw how the final result will like be.
Last week we added Popsicle sticks to more of the Windows to make it look nice. We we plan on doing this following week too. My idea in innovation has surprisingly stayed the same since the beginning and I still have the same plan going. I've learned how to use different materials such as glass, wood, and acrylic paint for example. I now have an idea of how accurate and precise measurements have to be to actually build a house and how you have to take everything into account.
This week on innovation day, we glued on the balcony to the house and used some clamps to hold it tight. We did not cut the cut very good so we were really hoping it would fit right and we managed to do just that! this week for innovation day I finished putting the pieces of the balcony together. We cut the wood a bit weird so we are going to need to cut off part of it but I plan to do that before the next innovation day. This week we plan on painting the Popsicles sticks to put them around try window so it looks prettier.
